Each saved certificate carries a QR code. Scanning it opens exactly one certificate through an unguessable link. Nobody can browse the database – a customer only ever sees the certificate they were given.
Once a certificate is saved, the Edit button is gone. Users see “Request edit” with a ready-made e-mail to management. A corrected certificate can always be issued by duplicating the original.
